Absolutely. We offer several stunning outdoor ceremony locations, including the wildflower field, pondside settings, and open natural landscapes throughout the property.

No — Field & Forest does not provide an indoor weather contingency plan.

Field & Forest is a fully furnished private luxury home, and moving interior furniture to create an indoor ceremony or reception setup is not permitted.

Because every wedding is uniquely designed, creating and coordinating a weather backup plan is the responsibility of the couple and their planner/coordinator. We strongly recommend discussing contingency options early in the planning process, including tenting or other alternative rental solutions if needed.

Yes. Every event that you choose to host on the property is included in the site rental fee. Many couples choose to make Field & Forest a full wedding weekend destination, hosting welcome dinners, rehearsal gatherings, brunches, and poolside celebrations on the property.

We’ll walk you through the property, show you how everything works, and make sure you have the information you need ahead of your event, but we do not provide an on-site coordinator or day-of event management.

Think of Field & Forest more like a luxury private estate rental. Couples are responsible for hiring their own planner, coordinator, or event team to manage logistics, setup, timeline execution, and vendor coordination throughout the wedding weekend.

Yes. You’re welcome to bring in your preferred vendors, though we also have a list of trusted local recommendations for catering, florals, photography, rentals, and coordination.

Wedding rentals include exclusive access to the property for your rental period, use of the entire property, all of the amenities and overnight accommodations.

Because Field & Forest is a private estate, we do not have a designated event parking lot. Off-site parking and shuttle service help preserve the overall guest experience and maintain the natural beauty of the property without a large number of visible vehicles.

For additional guests, we recommend booking accommodations in nearby Natchez, which offers a range of boutique hotels, historic inns, and larger lodging options just a short drive from the property.

Many couples choose to create room blocks in Natchez and arrange shuttle transportation for guests to and from the venue for a smooth wedding weekend experience.

Yes.

For outdoor events with more than 50 guests, couples are required to rent restroom trailers for the duration of the event.

Field & Forest is a private historic home with older plumbing infrastructure, and the house’s pipes are not designed to support high-volume restroom use during large events.

This requirement helps protect the property while ensuring a comfortable guest experience. Your planner or rental company can help coordinate restroom trailer delivery and setup as part of your event logistics.

Yes. The grounds are incredibly photogenic, with natural landscapes, water views, open fields, and architectural details throughout the estate. We charge a fee of $100 an hour for engagement photo sessions.
